This year we are excited about he opportunity to continue to provide Stem education for youth in the Chicagoland area. We are working and partnering with the Chicago Urban League to provide a virtual Stem experience to over 50 youth in the Chicago area.
This will be the first time we are attempting to provide online education so we are excited to see the impact that this may have” says Tracy Powell President of Ignite Technology and Innovation.
The camp begins on July 27th and runs through July 31st. The youth will be be broken up into two sessions one in the morning the other in the afternoon. Abbott Laboratories will also be working with the youth on one of the camp days
“With COVID-19 upon us we had to pivot and figure out other ways to provide education. This will serve as a litmus test on the possibilities of online technology based education” says Tracy Powell.
